Helping kids with proven isovaleric acidaemia (IVA) or other proven disorders of leucine metabolism thrive every day starts with nutrition that fits their needs. IVA Anamix junior powder, available in a convenient tin, can be mixed into a smooth paste or creamy drink, making mealtimes simple and flexible. Each serving provides leucine-free protein, vitamins, minerals and DHA*. The product contains 6 different fibres1 contributing to total daily fibre intake often lacking in the IVA diet.
IVA Anamix junior Neutral is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. IVA Anamix junior is a leucine-free, powdered drink mix containing a balanced mixture of the other essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat (including DHA*), vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fibre.

For enteral use only. Not for parenteral use. Must be used under medical supervision. Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition. Suitable for children 1 to 10 years of age. Only to be used by individuals with proven isovaleric acidemia (IVA).
This product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with a protein source to supply the lysine, tryptophan, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in quantities as prescribed by a clinician or dietitian.
The recommended dosage and timing of intake is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietitian or clinician only.
Pour the required volume of cold water into a container. Add the prescribed quantity IVA Anamix junior and shake until the powder has dissolved. Water or additional fluid should be offered or taken at the same time as IVA Anamix junior to ensure adequate fluid intake.
Recommended feed dilution:
36g of product made up to a final volume of approximately 126ml with water.
Can be made as a drink with 50 - 100ml of water or into a paste with 10ml of water.*
Shake or stir the product immediately before use. If given orally, best serve chilled.
*Should be consumed with a glass of water.
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Use sachet immediately after opening.
Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. Shake or stir immediately before use.
