Ingredients

Loprofin Chocolate Cake Mix

1 packet


Melted butter

85g 


Low protein chocolate chips

50g 


Full fat low protein mayonnaise

60g 


Loprofin Sno-Pro

150mls 


Vanilla essence / extract

2 tsp 


Instant coffee powder

1 tsp

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C
  2. In a bowl mix the coffee with 1 tablespoon of boiling water.
  3. Add the Loprofin Chocolate Cake Mix, melted butter, mayonnaise, vanilla, chocolate chips, and Loprofin Sno-Pro.
  4. Mix until you have a soft batter.
  5. Place mixture in a greased 9 x 6 inch baking tin and bake at 170°C for 20 minutes.
  6. Allow the brownie to cool in the tin. It will be soft in the middle.
  7. Cut into 8 even squares and serve.
  8. Store in an airtight tin or freeze for up to 3 months.

 

Chef tips:

  • The brownie will continue to bake as it cools so you want them to be slightly under baked to keep them moist in the middle
  • You can bake the batter in muffin tins or individual cakes
  • Bake the batter in small individual ramekins for a melt in the middle chocolate dessert
  • Add 50g cherries into the mixture before baking for a delicious twist
  • When serving, add candles or edible decorations for a festive birthday cake
