Phlexy-10 Tablets are an unflavoured, odourless, phenylalanine-free protein substitute for use in patients with phenylketonuria (PKU). The discreet and portable packaging is designed for convenience, and Phlexy-10 Tablets are a suitable option for those who prefer tablets over liquid protein substitutes (12 tablets = 10g protein equivalent).
As part of the Phlexy-10 system, the tablets can be combined with a suitable vitamin and mineral supplement.
Phlexy-10 Tablets is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Phenylalanine-free tablets containing a balanced mixture of other essential and non-essential amino acids. Must be combined with a suitable vitamin and mineral supplement. Part of the Phlexy-10 system. For the dietary management of proven phenylketonuria (PKU), in children aged from 8 years and adults.

Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition.

Tablets are high in fibre due to the excipients / carriers present therefore, they should be introduced gradually by the patient, to avoid any gastrointestinal symptoms.
The recommended dosage and timing of intake is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietitian or clinician only.
The required daily amount should be divided into equal portions and distributed throughout the day. Water or diluted drinks should be offered or taken at the same time.
This product is part of the Phlexy-10 system. These products are designed to be interchangeable: 8.33g PE (10g amino acids) are provided by:

Tablets are high in fibre due to the excipients / carriers present therefore, they should be introduced gradually by the patient, to avoid any gastrointestinal symptoms.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Once opened, store tablets at <25°C, in dry conditions, and use within 1 month.
Always replace container lid after use.
