The recommended dosage and timing of intake is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietitian or clinician only.

The required daily amount should be divided into equal portions and distributed throughout the day. Water or diluted drinks should be offered or taken at the same time. To ensure tolerance the product may initially need to be introduced at a lower concentration. The quantity and dilution of this product can be adapted to the tolerance and preferences of the individual under supervision of a clinician or dietitian.

Recommended feed dilution:

• It is recommended that the patient uses a 1 to 20 dilution (e.g. 1g powder + 20ml water) = 330 mOsm/kg H₂O

Make a paste with the prescribed quantity of powder by adding a small amount of water, before gradually diluting to the final volume required.

This dilution is a guideline only. The product can be taken as a more concentrated drink or paste, but additional fluid or diluted drinks should be offered at the same time.

Best served chilled. Stir before use.
