PKU GMPro LQ is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. PKU GMPro LQ is a neutral flavoured, nutritionally incomplete, low phenylalanine* ready to use liquid product containing glycomacropeptide (GMP), with essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fat (including EPA** and DHA***), vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. With sugars and sweetener.

*PKU GMPro LQ contains 18mg of phenylalanine per 250ml carton. This should be taken into consideration as part of the overall dietary intake. Protein substitutes based on GMP are a natural source of phenylalanine.

Protein substitutes based on GMP are a natural source of phenylalanine.

Only to be used by individuals with proven phenylketonuria (PKU) and hyperphenylalaninaemia (HPA).

This product should not be used a sole source of protein but must be supplemented with a source of natural protein and other nutrients in medically prescribed quantities to supply the phenylalanine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient.

The recommended dosage and timing of intake is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietitian or clinician only.

The required daily amount should be divided into equal portions and distributed throughout the day. Water or diluted drinks should be offered or taken at the same time.

Shake product vigorously for at least 5 seconds before use.

Best served chilled. Do not freeze.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Once carton is opened, store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hrs.
