L-Citrulline is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. A powdered form of the amino acid L-Citrulline. For use as a supplement in the dietary management of conditions requiring additional L-Citrulline e.g. ornithine carbamyl transferase (OCT) and carbamoyl phosphate synthetase I (CPS) deficiencies. Suitable for use from birth.
Pack size: 100g tub

Must be used under medical supervision.
For enteral use only.
Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

The powder can be:

  • mixed with protein substitutes,
  • added to modular feeds,
  • dissolved in water,
  • incorporated into other permitted foods and drinks, or
  • taken as a paste.

The quantity of feed and the dilution must be determined by a clinician or dietitian and will depend on the patient’s age, body weight, and medical condition.

Store in a cool dry place.
Once opened, use within one month.
Once reconstituted, use within 24 hours.
