TYR Lophlex LQ 20 juicy berries is a food for medical use in proven tyrosinemia for children from 4 years of age and adults, including pregnant women (in combination with the standard folic acid supplementation). It is ready-to-drink and one pouch contains 125 ml (20 g protein equivalent).
TYR Lophlex LQ 20 is a tyrosine- and phenylalanine-free* acid based liquid, containing vitamins, trace elements and some minerals, containing mixed fruit juices (from concentrate) and natural flavouring. Contains docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) as the intake of this essential fatty acid may be low in protein restricted diets. With sugars and sweeteners.

Precautions: This product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with natural protein and other nutrients to supply the phenylalanine, tyrosine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in medically prescribed quantities. The product contains only trace amounts of sodium, potassium and chloride.
Suggested intake: Should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient. The daily required intake should be distributed throughout the day. Water or diluted drinks should be offered or taken at the same time.
Shake well before use. Best served chilled.
Unopened: Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Opened: Store in a refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
