Butter (room temp.)

100g


Loprofin Mix

175g


Caster sugar

75g


Sno-Pro

3 tsp


Optional flavors:


Grated rind of lemon

½


Dried lavender

1 tsp


Sweet spice

1 tsp


Currants or dried fruits

50g


Few drops of vanilla or almond essence


Chopped cherries

50g

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Rub butter and Loprofin Mix together until fine breadcrumbs.
  3. Stir in sugar and optional flavorings.
  4. Squeeze mixture together, adding Sno-Pro to form dough.
  5. Knead dough for 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Roll out to ½ cm thickness and cut shapes.
  7. Transfer to greased baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack.
