Zucchini Noodles

  • 1 medium (196 g) zucchini, spiralized or cut into long strands
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ cup (59 mL) tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add zucchini noodles and garlic powder to frying pan.
  • Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Strain the noodles and set aside. Add tomato sauce to frying pan and warm. Then add noodles back to pan and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
