- Preheat the oven to 150 °C.
- In a bowl, mix the Loprofin Mix*, butter, sugar and syrup until combined.
- Add the ground ginger and knead into a smooth dough. Add a little warm water if needed to reach the right consistency.
- Dust the work surface with some Loprofin Mix* and knead the dough on top for about 30 seconds.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 cm and cut out about 10 Christmas tree-shaped cookies with a cookie cutter. Gather the leftover dough, roll out again, and cut out additional cookies.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.
- For the glaze: mix the icing sugar with the water until thick, smooth. If necessary, divide the icing over several trays and add different food colourings.
- Decorate the cooled cookies with the frosting as desired.
