Essential Amino Acid Mix is a powdered mixture of essential amino acids (including cystine and histidine).
Must be used under medical supervision. For enteral use only. Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition.
Recommended dilution: 1 to 20 (i.e. 5g powder + 100ml water).
Mix the prescribed amount of the powder to a paste with cold water and make up to required volume.
Stir or shake immediately before use.
Best served chilled.
This dilution is a guideline only. Can be taken as a more concentrated drink or paste, but additional water or diluted drinks must be taken at the same time.
May be flavoured with a separate flavour from the Nutricia range.
Unopened: Store in a cool, dry place.
Opened: Use within 4 weeks. Always replace container lid after use.
Prepared feed: Refrigerate and consume within 24 hrs. Stir or shake immediately before use.
For the dietary management of conditions requiring essential amino acid supplementation e.g. urea cycle disorders.
Suitable for infants, children and adults.
