Zucchini Noodles
Get creative in the kitchen by using zucchini to make delicious noodles. Great for anyone following a diet low in protein.
- 1 medium (196 g) zucchini, spiralized or cut into long strands
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup (59 mL) tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add zucchini noodles and garlic powder to frying pan.
Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
Strain the noodles and set aside. Add tomato sauce to frying pan and warm. Then add noodles back to pan and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
